Why am I looking at this new interface?

We have thought about your banking needs, and designed our new interface around three core ideas: Personalization, Contextual, and speed.

So far, we have only enhanced the credit card mobile app experience but we will soon be extending the enhancements to the rest of your banking experience.

What can I do with this new interface? What is new?

If you have a credit card then we have made it simpler for you to manage your finances:

  • View your monthly e-Statement
  • Setup your ATM PIN to enjoy cash withdrawals at ATMs
  • Convert your purchases to Easy Installments, and even convert the full or partial amount of your monthly Credit Card bill
  • Pay your credit card bills
  • Apply for Loan on Card

How secure are the transactions I make with this new interface?

Your security is our top priority. This is why all our services are thoroughly tested before and after the release of every new version.

We want you to feel confident that any transaction you make with our new interface is as secure as possible.

Can I make purchases at Visa/MasterCard acceptance merchants without activating my Credit or Debit card?

No, you will not be able to make purchases until your card is activated. This includes online transactions made over the internet and within apps.

How to activate your card:

  • If you are already registered, log in to Citi Mobile and click on the activate button over your card's image.
  • If you have not registered on Citi Online or on Citi Mobile yet, please download the Citi UAE mobile app and before logging in click on the menu icon in the upper left corner and select Card Activation.

Can I make ATM cash withdrawals without activating my Credit, Debit or ATM card?

No you will not be able to make ATM cash withdrawals until your card is activated.

How to activate your card:

  • If you are already registered, log in to Citi Mobile and click on the activate button over your card's image.
  • If you have not registered on Citi Online or on Citi Mobile yet, please download the Citi UAE mobile app and before logging in click on the menu icon in the upper left corner and select Card Activation.

Can I see if my new card is activated or not in the Mobile App?

Yes, you will be able to see the image of your new card with the "Activate" button over it. Click on 'Activate' to use the card and the mobile features.

After successfully activating my card, can I use it immediately?

Yes, you will be able to use your card immediately.

Can I search for certain transaction details?

Yes, if you need to find out the details of a completed transaction, you can simply go to the list of your transactions, start typing the Merchant's name and our intelligent search will quickly show you the exact transactions.

How can I change my ATM PIN on the Citi Mobile App?

Go to the settings menu, click on the 'A PIN' button, and you can change your ATM PIN any time, even when you are on the go.
