Card Services
As our digital channels continue to evolve, we aim to provide you with a seamless banking experience, where you can carry out your banking transactions with ease and enhanced security.
Some of our services are transitioning away from post, courier or email requests, to give you the peace of mind that only you can have access to your account(s). These services are available through our digital channels, where you can request for them instantly, and get your transaction carried out faster.
Starting 1 November, 2020, the following services will only be available through the listed channels:
| Service | Channel |
|---|---|
| Funds Transfers | Citi Online, Citi Mobile® App, Branch |
| Book Time Deposit | Citi Online, Branch |
| Draft Issuance | Citi Online, Branch |
| Account Maintenance and Debit Card requests | Citi Online, Citi Mobile® App, Branch, Citiphone |
Starting from July 15, 2019, we will no longer be sending out paper statements. Instead, we will send you monthly e-statement reminders that you can view on Citi Mobile or Citi Online. This is not only better for our environment but is also more convenient & safer for you.
*Currently, only Credit Card Statements are accessible through Citi Mobile. You can always access your Banking Statement through Citi Online.
Citi is bound by the regulations of the UAE Central Bank to ensure that all Current Account holders with Citi UAE are current residents of UAE. To meet this obligation, we request a valid EID from all account holders.
What is "Phishing"?
"Phishing" is an internet scam whereby fraudsters send emails with the intention to collect critical personal and financial information. These "phishing" emails look genuine and appear to be coming from a legitimate bank. They always contain a link to a "spoofed" website asking you to provide an update to, or confirm, sensitive personal information and/or have a warning stating that your card/account has been suspended and that you need to click a 'secure' link to activate or restore your card/account.
