Both the referrer and referee will receive the reward upon fulfilling the funding criteria of 3 months minimum balance. The reward will be given within the next 30 working days.

  2. The Member Get Member (MGM) offer is open to Citibank clients who refer new clients to Citibank UAE for the purpose of opening a new Citigold or Citigold Private Client account through MGM referral forms.
  3. Referred customers or "Referees" that have closed any Citibank account where they were a single or joint account holder within 12 months immediately preceding the date of opening the new Citigold/Citigold Private Account are not eligible for the reward.
  4. Referrals of immediate family members (including spouse, sibling, parent, son/daughter) will not be accepted in this offer.
  5. For joint accounts, only one reward will be given to the Primary Account Holder
  6. This offer is applicable only for UAE residents.
  7. Offer is NOT applicable for US persons.
  8. Offer is NOT applicable for Citibank staff (Including Non-Employees)
  9. .The Referrer, or person who refers someone, is only eligible for referrer pay-out amount as stated in the offer grid on the Sales Authorization Form and/or Citibank’s website
  1. Terms related to what eligible customers must do to qualify for this offer:
  2. Referred customer should open a Citigold (CG) or Citigold Private Client (CPC) account between January 1st 2023 to December 31st 2023.
  3. Initial Funding: Once a CG account is opened, the referred customer must have Total Relationship Balance of USD 200,000 (or equivalent in other currencies) or more in their CG relationship within 90 days of opening the bank account. Likewise, the referred customer must have Total Relationship Balance of USD 1,000,000 (or equivalent in other currencies) or more under CPC relationship, within 90 days of opening the bank account. Total Relationship Balance is the sum of balance in deposits, investments (clients equity only, leverage component not included) or insurance policy values
  4. In order for the referred customer (one who is referred to Citi) and referrer customer (one who refers) to qualify for CG Funding Reward, once initial funding has taken place, the referred customer must maintain their relationship balance of USD 200,000 (or equivalent in other currencies) or more in their CG relationship for a period for 90 consecutive days at all times. Likewise, for the referred customer (one who is referred to Citi) and referrer customer (one who refers) to qualify for CPC Funding Reward, once initial funding has taken place, the referred customer must maintain their relationship balance of USD 1,000,000 (or equivalent in other currencies) or more in their CPC relationship for a period of 90 consecutive days at all times. The 90 consecutive days in which referred customer maintains required Total Relationship Balance is defined as Funding Period. For the avoidance of doubt, the funding period has to start no later than 90 days from account opening date. For the purpose of calculating reward, the lowest daily balance maintained for the 90 days will be taken.
  5. Funds transferred from Citibank UAE accounts will NOT be counted towards TRB calculation for offer fulfilment. Any funds that a customer received from another Citibank UAE account will be deducted from the TRB calculation for Funding Offer reward. For example, if a customer opened an account on January 1st, 2023, funded the account on January 10th, 2023 and maintained a TRB of $250,000 until April 10th, 2023, BUT $150,000 of the $250,000 came from a transfer from another Citibank UAE account, the customer’s TRB would be calculated to be only $100,000 and the customer would NOT qualify for the offer.
  6. The referred customer can earn a Bonus Reward. To earn the Bonus Reward, the customer must qualify for Funding Reward as mentioned in above clauses, and additionally hold have purchased at least $10,000 worth of investment products or a life insurance product by the end of the Funding Period.
  7. The account should be in good standing at the time of reward credit
  8. The Funding and Bonus Rewards would be credited to customer’s bank account within 30 working days of customer fulfilling the qualification criteria

It is the Referrer’s responsibility to obtain the consent of each Referee to give such Referee’s personal data to Citibank for the purpose of marketing Citibank products and services to such Referee via telephone. The Referrer acknowledges that Citibank will inform such Referee that it has collected or will collect such Referee’s personal data from the Referrer. By submitting details, the Referrer confirms that they have obtained the consent of the Referee to allow Citibank’s representatives to contact the Referee via the telephone or other electronic means to market its services, offers or product and shall indemnify Citibank against any claims and costs arising thereof.
  14. The Consumer has the right to acquire separately one of proposed bundled Products and or Services and forgo the favourable terms

2- Eligible investment products: Securities that Citibank UAE offers on local & offshore bookings within the bond, SN, equity and mutual fund, including RSPs. Customer can buy any one insurance product or multiple insurance products with aggregate annualized premium being >=$10M in order to qualify. However, if customer buys $5,000 of Investments and $5,000 of insurance, he/she will not qualify.
3- Funding Period is the 90 days after the customers has funded above the minimum threshold where he/she must maintain the balance above the minimum at all times. Account must be funded with new money. New money means a deposit of funds from outside Citibank. Any transfer of funds between any Citibank account(s) (be it GWM UAE, IPB Singapore) would not be considered as new funds.
