How to qualify for the Funding Reward

  1. Fund Your Account - Complete funding within 90 days of opening your account (“Funding Date”) as per the offer grid.
  2. Maintain Your Balance - Keep the required balance for 90 consecutive days from the Funding Date (“Retention Period”).
  3. Eligible Balance Includes - Deposits (current, savings, time deposits), investments, and cash value of insurance (excluding leverage).
  4. Important Notes
    • Transfers from existing Citibank accounts do not qualify as new funding.
    • Your account must remain in good standing.
    • Rewards are credited within 45 days after the Retention Period.
    • For joint account(s), rewards are credited to the primary account holder.
    • Fluctuations - Your final cash credit will be based on the qualifying funding level you achieve and continuously maintain for 90 days. All funding increases that could lead to a higher reward must be deposited within 90 days of your account opening date. If your account balance drops below the minimum requirement for a specific reward tier at any point during its 90-day maintenance period, your eligibility for that reward may be adjusted to a lower tier or forfeited entirely.


How to qualify for the existing credit card reward

  • To be eligible for this reward, you must have an active and current Citibank UAE primary credit card at the time of opening your new banking relationship and meet the “Funding Reward” qualifying criteria.


How to qualify for the Investment Reward

  • You must first qualify for the Funding Reward.
  • Invest a minimum of AED 550,000 before the end of the Retention Period.
  • Maintain the investment for the remainder of the Retention Period.
  • Investment rewards are capped at AED 10,000.
  • US Persons are not eligible for Investment Rewards.

New to Bank Promotion – Terms and Conditions

  1. For the purposes hereof:
    • Balance includes deposits (time deposits, checking and savings accounts), cash value of insurance, and investments (excluding leverage) maintained by you with Citi UAE and/or Citibank NA Singapore branch under an Oasis relationship.
    • “Customer” or “You” means (i) a natural person above 18 years of age, (ii) is not a Citi UAE staff (including outsourced staff), (iii) who opens a new single or joint banking relationship with Citi UAE including under an Oasis relationship during the Campaign Period, and (iv) whose single or joint account(s) with Citi UAE has NOT been closed within 12 months immediately preceding the date of opening the new banking relationship during the Campaign Period.


Who is Eligible?
For the Funding Reward:

  • A Customer (defined above) who opens a new banking relationship (including an Oasis relationship) with Citibank N.A. UAE branch (“Citi UAE”) during the Campaign Period, has not closed a banking relationship with Citi UAE during the last 12 months from the account opening date, and fulfils the Funding Criteria (defined below).


How to Receive the Funding Reward (“Funding Criteria”)

  1. Account Funding as per the table above must occur within 90 days of opening your account (“Funding Date”);
  2. Maintain Balance: Keep the Balance (defined above) for 90 consecutive days from the Funding Date, (the “Retention Period”).
  3. Some examples of the Funding Criteria:
    • Example 1 – Customer A’s account is opened on 1st May, 2026, funded with AED 1,000,000 by 15th Jun, 2026 (Funding Date) and a Balance of at least AED 1,000,000 is maintained in their account(s) until 13th Sep, 2026 (Retention Period - 90 days from 15th Jun, 2026). Customer A would qualify for a Funding Reward(s) of AED 5,500 since they funded within 90 days from the account opening date and maintained the Balance for 90 consecutive days.
    • Example 2 – Customer B’s account is opened on 1st May, 2026, funded with AED 1,000,000 by 15th Aug, 2026 (Funding Date) and a Balance of at least AED 1,000,000 is maintained in their account(s) until 13th Nov, 2026 (i.e. Retention Period - 90 days from 15th Aug, 2026). Customer B would NOT qualify for a Funding Reward since they didn’t fund the account(s) within 90 days from account opening date.
    • Example 3 - Customer C’s account is opened on 1st May, 2026, funded with AED 1,000,000 by 15th June, 2026 (Funding Date). On 20th June, 2026, the Balance in the account(s) fell to AED 800,000 and remained so until 30th June 2026. On 1st July, 2026, the Balance was increased to AED 1,000,000 and this Balance was maintained until 13th Oct, 2026 (i.e. Retention Period - 90 days from 15th July, 2026). Customer C would NOT qualify for a Funding Reward since they didn’t maintain the Balances for 90 consecutive days i.e. the Retention Period.
    • Example 4 - Customer D’s account is opened on 1st May, 2026, funded with AED 4,000,000 by 15th June, 2026 (Funding Date). On 20th June, 2026, the Balance in the account(s) fell to AED 1,000,000 and remained so until 30th June 2026. On 1st July, 2026, the Balance was increased to AED 4,000,000 and this Balance was maintained until 13th Oct, 2026 (i.e. Retention Period - 90 days from 15th July, 2026). Customer D would qualify for a Funding Reward as per the AED 1,000,000 qualifying tier.
  1. Exclusions: Funds transferred from another Citi UAE account (even family/friends’ accounts) would not qualify towards the new funding requirement.
  2. Funding Volatility: (1) The Reward will be based on the qualifying funding level continuously maintained during the Retention Period. All funding increases that could lead to a higher reward must be deposited within 90 days of your account opening date. (2) If the Balance drops below the minimum requirement for a specific reward tier at any point during the Retention Period, your eligibility for that reward may be adjusted to a lower tier or forfeited entirely.
    Some examples of Funding Volatility referred to clause 13 above:
    • Example 1 – Customer A funded their account with AED 1,000,000, 10 days after account opening. On day 60 from the account opening date, Customer A increases their funding to AED 2,200,000. If the Customer continuously maintains a Balance of at least AED 2,000,000 until day 150 from the account opening date (which is 90 days after reaching AED 2,000,000), they will receive the Funding Reward as per AED 2,000,000 funding qualifying tier.
    • Example 2 – Customer B funded their account with AED 2,000,000, 30 days after the account opening date. However, 100 days after the account opening date, their Balance drops to AED 1,000,000. In this case, they will receive the Funding Reward for AED 1,000,000 funding tier as per the table.
    • Example 3 – Customer C funded their account with AED 2,2000,000, 30 days after the account opening date. However, 100 days after the account opening date, their balance drops to AED 800,000. In this case, they will not receive any Funding Reward, as their Balance fell below the qualifying minimum of AED 1,000,000 during the Retention Period.
    • Example 4 – Customer D funded their account with AED 1,000,000, 10 days after account opening. 100 days after the account opening date, Customer D deposited an additional AED 3,000,000, bringing their Balance to AED 4,000,000. Even if this AED 4,000,000 is maintained, this increase will not qualify for the Funding Reward for AED 4,000,000 because the funding increase occurred after the 90-days Funding Date.


How to Receive the Existing Credit Card Customer Reward

  1. A Customer who holds a valid and current primary credit card with Citi UAE as of the account opening date and fulfils the Funding Criteria will be entitled to this Reward.


How to Receive Investment Reward (“Investment Criteria”)

  1. Eligibility: To be eligible for this reward, Customer must first qualify for the Funding Reward.
  2. Investment Criteria: To qualify, Customer must make a minimum investment (not investments by way of insurance) of AED 550,000 before the end of the Retention Period and hold such investments for the remaining of the Retention Period.
    Some examples of these Investment Criteria:
    • Example 1 – Customer A opens their account on 1st May, 2026, funds it with AED 1,000,000 by 15th Jun, 2026 (Funding Date) and maintains at least AED 1,000,000 in their accounts until 13th Sep, 2026 (i.e. Retention Period - 90 days from the Funding Date) AND purchases investments for AED 550,000 on 12th Sep, 2026, which is within the Retention Period. Customer A would qualify since they qualified for the Funding Reward AND purchased investments before the end of the Retention Period.
    • Example 2 – Customer B opens their account on 1st May, 2026, funds it with AED 1,000,000 by 15th Jun, 2026 (Funding Date) and maintains at least AED 1,000,000 in their accounts until 13th Sep, 2026 (90 days from the Funding Date ) AND purchases investments for AED 90,000 on 12th Sep, 2026, which is within the Retention Period. Customer B would NOT qualify since they DIDN’T purchase investments of at least AED 550,000.
    • Example 3 – Customer C opens their account on 1st May, 2026, funds with AED 550,000 by 15th Jun, 2026 (Funding Date) and maintains at least AED 550,000 in their accounts until 13th Sep, 2026 (90 days from the Funding Date) AND purchases investments for AED 550,000 on 12th Sep, 2026, which is within the Retention Period. Customer C would NOT qualify since they are NOT eligible for the Funding Reward as they DIDN’T meet the funding criteria.
    • Example 4 – Customer D opens their account on 1st May, 2026, funds with AED 2,000,000 by 15th Jun, 2026 (Funding Date) and maintains at least AED 2,000,000 in their accounts until 13th Sep, 2026 (90 days from the Funding Date) AND purchases investments for AED 1,000,000 on 14th Sep, 2026, which is after the Retention Period. Customer D would NOT qualify since they DIDN’T purchase investments before the end of the Retention Period.
  1. Reward Structure: Customer will receive the Investment Reward as per table below, subject to a maximum investment amount of AED 1,000,000 to qualify for this Reward and a maximum reward of AED 10,000.
  2. US Persons: Not eligible for Investment Rewards, only for Funding Rewards.
  3. While meeting the “Funding Criteria” is a requirement to be eligible for the “Investment Reward”, you may choose to purchase investment product(s) separately from this offer and forgo the offer’s favorable terms.


General Terms

  1. Account Status: Customer account must be unrestricted when the Reward is to be credited.
  2. Reward Credit: Rewards will be credited to Customer’s bank account 45 days after the end of the Retention Period.
  3. Joint accounts: In case of joint account(s), the Rewards will only be credited to primary account holder.
  4. Citibank has reasonable discretion to vary, delete or add to any of these terms and conditions, and to suspend or terminate the Campaign without notice. In the event of any inconsistency between any marketing material and these terms and conditions, these terms and conditions shall prevail insofar as it relates to the Campaign.
  5. Standard Citibank Terms and Conditions governing Citi UAE accounts and investments apply to this Campaign and are available at https://www.citibank.ae/TnC. In no event shall Citi UAE, any of its affiliates, or any of their officers, directors, employees or agents be liable for any loss, damage or expense arising out of or otherwise related to this Campaign.
  6. A Customer shall be eligible to receive a Reward only if they fulfill the qualifying criteria set out herein.
  7. The Customer has the right to separately acquire one of the products (including investment products) and/or services from Citi UAE without the need to meet the qualifying criteria, and forgo the offer’s favorable terms.
