Provides the relationship coverage for delivering Citi's global capabilities to our clients by originating and orchestrating the execution of comprehensive financial advisory, capital raising, treasury/trade management solutions, and provide securities and fund services to our clients wherever they choose to compete around the world. Global Banking's client teams are organized by industry and by country and each team is made up of Strategic Coverage officers who focus on M&A, Equity and related financing solutions, and Corporate Bankers who are supported by our Global Subsidiaries Group (GSG) in delivering Corporate Banking/Finance services to global, regional and local clients operating in multiple locations around the world.

Investment Banking provides solutions to clients to achieve their strategic and financial goals. Through our investment banking unit we deliver high level advice on evaluating and executing mergers and acquisitions, analyzing financing options and appropriate capital structures and assisting in the raising of equity and debt from the capital markets. Our clients range from world's largest multinational corporations to financial institutions and governments.

The Middle East Franchise has an Investment Banking team based in Dubai with a mandate to market and execute strategic transactions within the Middle East. This team works closely with the coverage bankers based in Dubai and other Middle East countries where Citi has a presence, as well as with the Investment Banking industry teams based in London.

In recognition of its continuing success in building its Middle East advisory business, Euromoney Magazine awarded four Middle East Merger&Acquisition (M&A) awards to Citi during a special ceremony held in Dubai yesterday. Awards won by Citi were as follows:

In order to meet each client's specific needs, Corporate Bankers partner with product specialists to execute a full array of tailored corporate banking solutions, ranging from cash management, foreign exchange, trade finance, custody, clearing and loans to capital markets, derivatives, and structured products. Corporate Bankers partner with our Investment Bankers to deliver optimal financing solutions to support our clients' strategic M&A activities. In addition, Corporate Bankers are in charge of managing Citi's credit exposure to each client and they work closely with our Risk Management teams to maximize returns on capital.
