Use “Emergency Center” to block your outgoing transactions on your credit cards and bank accounts immediately if you suspect fraud.

 At Citi, your security is our utmost priority. If you suspect or find yourselves at risk of banking fraud due to your login credentials or accounts being compromised, activate Emergency Service to stop further transactions initiated from your Debit cards, Credit cards & your banking accounts. This will result in your Citibank Online access being restricted, and the Citi Mobile® App will become view-only for transaction details.

This will need to be done individually for each card. Your supplementary cardholders will need to stop their transactions by logging into their Citi Mobile® App.

You should visit Emergency Center and select :

  • Report lost credit card: Permanently block and replace when you are sure your credit card is lost and you need a new one.

  • Stop all account and credit card activity: When you suspect fraud or account compromise. All transactions for your accounts and credit cards will stop and a Fraud Representative will call you. This will not result in credit and debit card replacement the way "Report lost card".

  1. Select Emergency Center from Citi Mobile® App pre-login page > “Stop all account and credit card activity”.

  2. Select “Continue”.

  3. Read the “Important notes” and acknowledge to proceed & then select “Block now”.

  4. Your outgoing transactions will be stopped, Citi Mobile® App will become view-only for transaction details. Citi Online access will be restricted.

  5. Please make sure that you are registered to Enhance Security Function if your device has not been registered with it before.

Report Lost and Stolen Credit Card.

Select “Emergency Center” from Citi Mobile® App > Report lost credit card.

  1. Select the card that needs to be reported lost.

  2. Confirm Report Credit card lost.

Your credit cards, and if you have bank accounts and debit cards, will stop working across all channels. You will not be able to :

  • Transfer funds.

  • Purchase at stores or online.

  • Use digital wallets (e.g., Apple Pay, Google Pay).

  • Withdraw cash from ATMs.

  • Pay for subscriptions, recurring payments or pre-authorized hotel/car rentals etc.
